sleep

  • Tents are spaced throughout the property, some nestled in the woods and others closer to the coastline.
  • Each tent has wood-burning stoves (for heat), a private deck, and a pull-chain shower (so don't expect to take a long one). No bathtubs, mini-fridges, or outlets.
  • Beds include real mattresses with bedding and are quite comforable.
  • If you’re traveling with one child, they can add a pack ’n play (free) or camp cot ($25) to any adult tent. The camp cot comes with bedding and a mattress topper, so your kid will be comfortable.
  • If you have multiple kids, you can book a suite (if you all want to be under one roof) or add a kids tent. The kids tent has two twin beds and is next to the adult tent — it does not have a stove (good if you’re worried about your kids being around fire unattended, bad if you’re traveling early or late in the season when they might be a bit chilly).
  • Suite tents have a queen-size sleeper sofa, but no door separating the bed and sofa. Bigger groups can go for the Cadillac Mountain Suite (a suite tent and a 3 twin kids tent with a large deck).
  • Stargazer tents get mixed reviews—some love the skylights, others find the early sun disruptive.
  • Tents don’t lock (staff monitors the property 24/7), but valuables can be stored in your car.
  • No Wi-Fi and some guests have limited cell service.
  • You’ll get a lantern (with USB ports) for light and phone charging. Battery packs and fans are available (first-come).
  • Some tents are a bit of a walk from the parking lot. If it’s an issue, they have a golf cart that can drive you to your tent.
  • Very quiet at night. Guests noted good privacy and peaceful sleep.
  • This property is open seasonally. 2025: May 8th–October 13th; 2026: May 7th–October 12th.

play

  • This is a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of Maine — woods, open fields, rugged coastline, and ocean views.
  • Property features a large private coastline, which your kids will love exploring.
  • Tons of open space for young ones to run around and just be kids, as well as walking trails.
  • There’s camp-style programming throughout the day — yoga, games and crafts, music, s’mores and stargazing.
  • About a 35-minute drive to Acadia National Park entrance for hiking, outdoor adventures, and beautiful views.
  • No kids club or babysitting (but there will be other kids for yours to play with).
  • The “Adventure Concierge” can book activities like kid-friendly guided hikes, kayaking, or even a pirate cruise.
  • The property gets pretty quiet during the day (most guests are off exploring Acadia), but it’s lively at night. The main tent is a fun hangout spot with games, activities, and food.

eat

  • No reservations needed. Breakfast is 7–10am; dinner is 5–9pm. Kid and dietary-friendly options available.
  • Grab-and-go snacks all day — perfect for packing a picnic or heading into Acadia.
  • Coffee shop/café on site with premium espresso beverages.
  • Bar offers local wine, beer, cocktails, and mocktails.
  • Free nightly s’mores, but fire pits don’t open until 7pm—plan accordingly for young kids.
  • No food is allowed in tents (to avoid critters), so keep snacks in your car instead.. No mini-fridges, so pack a cooler if needed.
