- Riverview and Gardenview Cabins are great family options. Each has a full kitchen, small living room, hot tub, covered porch, charcoal grill, and firepit.
- Cabins include separate sleeping areas for kids and adults: a loft with two twin beds (plus a sofa in the living room) and a queen bedroom downstairs. The loft isn’t full height but works well for kids.
- The Riverview Bunk Cabin adds two bunk beds on the ground floor, located in the hallway between the kitchen and master bedroom.
- There is no daily housekeeping.
- Floors can get cold in the winter—pack slippers or cozy socks.
- Looking Glass Cabins and Airstreams are adults-only.

- A great base for outdoor adventures, with nearby hiking and biking trails plus local partners offering tubing, fly fishing, and paddleboarding pick-ups at the property.
- There’s a launch on site for your own kayak or paddleboard (they don't provide any), with 1,000 feet of private riverfront on the French Broad River.
- Plenty of open space for kids to run and play, and they'll love wading in the river or throwing rocks.
- The communal lodge has board games and lawn games.
- Pack a blanket or lawn chairs to spend a relaxing day at the river.
- Close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

- No on-site restaurant, but a seasonal food truck (Thursday–Sunday) serves beer, wine, and snacks.
- Most guests cook meals in their cabin kitchens or on the charcoal grills (bring your own charcoal; firewood is provided).
- Just 1 mile from Biltmore Park Town Square, with restaurants, and a short drive to downtown Asheville for delicious dining options.
- Sierra Nevada Brewery is very family-friendly, with plenty of outdoor space for kids to play while parents enjoy a beer.
