sleep
- This gated property feels very private. The views are incredible (backs up to the western part of Zion National Park).
- Tents have electricity, air conditioning, heating (including heated bathroom floors), and a parking spot.
- Some tents also feature hammock swings on the porch — a kid favorite -- and all except Cedar Springs have an outdoor shower.
- Cedar Springs and Desert Rose are one-room tents with one king bed — best suited for families traveling with only a baby/toddler in a pack ‘n play.
- The Star Seeker tents have two king beds — one in the main room, and one in a “stargazing room” closed off by a curtain (you’ll probably fight over who gets this bed!). The Star Seeker Superior has outdoor hot tubs and stunning elevated views — but they do require navigating stairs and a steeper drive. One of them even includes a hammock suspended off the deck.
- Juniper Berry is great for families of 5, with a king bedroom, a bunk bed area, and a twin sleeper sofa (plus space for a crib if needed). There’s a door between the bedroom and living room.
- Milky Way is the largest suite, with two private king bedrooms (closed off by doors) and a pull-out trundle bed in the living room.
- Unlike most glamping resorts, you can lock your tent and there are real doors separating bedrooms and living spaces in some tents.
- Cell service is spotty, but WiFi is provided via Starlink and is generally reliable.
- They provide daily housekeeping — not always standard at glamping resorts.
play
- This is a scenic place to stay for a trip to Zion National Park; it feels remote, but you're only 30 minutes from the park. Guests describe it as magical.
- There are 5 miles of hiking trails on the property.
- Kids love the swimmable pond. They have a few kayaks and paddleboards you can borrow.
- Near the pond is some grass for kids to run around, and they have a few yard games.
- This is an awesome place for stargazing! Tents come equipped with a telescope.
- Mountain bikes are available for exploring the property and nearby Guacamole MTB Trail (less than 1 mile away) — adult size only.
- You can book private tours through them, with their preferred providers (hiking, stargazing, biking — even kids canyoneering for ages 3+).
- Drive to the mesa above the property for amazing views.
- This is not an easy property to navigate with a stroller — we recommend a hiking carrier for your littlest ones.
eat
- There’s a delicious farm-to-table restaurant on site (open 5–9pm); reservations are required — or they'll deliver to your room if you prefer. There’s no dedicated kids menu, but they can modify items if needed.
- Breakfast is included with your stay and can be picked up in the lobby from 7–11am (breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, muffins). Don’t skip the muffins — they’re made locally!
- Coffee can be made in your room or picked up in the lobby during breakfast hours.
- Tents also have mini fridges, microwaves, and a gas grill if you want to cook.
- There’s no alcohol sold on site (but you’re welcome to bring your own). Rooms have wine glasses and bottle openers.
- You’re given a welcome basket with snacks and s’mores kits.
- Rooms have filtered, drinkable water (and you’ll want to make sure to drink plenty of it!).
- There are some snacks available for purchase in the lobby. The closest grocery stores are in La Verkin and Hurricane.
