- All rooms and cabins are cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. (The property is over 90 years old but was completely renovated in 2024.)
- The Alexander Cabin sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, and bunk beds in an alcove off the living room.
- The Fink Cabin offers the same layout but with one fewer bedroom — a great option if you don’t need quite as much space.
play
- The resort offers tons of on-property activities in a gorgeous natural setting: horseback riding, hiking, archery, axe throwing, fishing, art, and an adventure course.
- Pony rides are available for little ones, and kids 8+ can join trail rides. (You can even ride to their sister property, The Swag, for a meal.)
- There’s currently no kids club.
- There’s no pool yet, but one is in the works.
- In the winter, you’re just a short drive from Cataloochee Ski Area.
- The owners and managing director have young kids themselves, and the entire resort is warmly accommodating to families.

- Breakfast is included and delivered to your cabin each morning — just pick your time.
- Lunch and dinner aren’t included in the rate, but guests rave about the food.
- Kids can make their own pizzas — always a hit!
- On Wednesday evenings, there’s a family cookout.
- You can also head to their sister property, The Swag, for a special dining experience.
