Montage Big Sky

• 100 guest rooms and 39 residences. Some residences are part of the hotel building and others are standalone houses.
• All rooms feature views, fireplaces, and bathtubs. Most have furnished terraces or balconies (we recommend these for morning coffee with Spanish Peaks views).
• Standard king rooms have a sofa that can sleep a child, or you can add a rollaway. Junior suites have a sofa bed rather than a sofa.
• One bedroom suites have an extra half-bath that could fit a pack 'n play.
• Residences range from 2-6 bedrooms (2,300-8,000+ sq ft) with full kitchens, multiple bathrooms, and grand fireplaces.
• You can add-on an in-room camping setup for little kids (with a tent and pretend campfire, plus a book and stuffed animal to keep).

• This is a perfect hotel for outdoor adventure loving families, both in the winter and the summer.
• The age 5-12 kids club offers half-day ($150), full-day ($225), and evening programs. It's outdoor adventure focused and kids love it.
• For younger kids, they partner with a local babysitting service.
• Kids 8-14 can also participate in the "Junior Naturalist" program (where they learn about local wildlife and geology). This is a 1.5 hour program.
• Four-lane bowling alley, golf simulators, and vintage arcade games at Beartooth Pub provide indoor entertainment.
• Heated outdoor zero-entry pool is open year-round has lovely views. The indoor pool is adults only (located in the spa) - they previously offered family swim hours, but don't currently.
• 45 minutes to Yellowstone National Park with private tours available through the hotel.
• They have jogging strollers available to borrow - just let them know in advance if you want one
• Summer activities:
  -Compass Adventure guides teach a free lesson daily at noon (fly tying, lassoing, axe throwing, etc.
  -Visit a local rodeo (always a big hit with the kids)
  -Horseback riding, mountain biking, fly fishing, tennis/pickleball, and guided hikes can be arranged (off property)
• Winter activities:
  -Tubing, ice skating, snowshoeing, dogsledding, skiing
  -There's a lift right outside the hotel that will take you to the Big Sky base area. If your kids (or you) need some practice first, there are two "magic carpets" right outside the hotel for you to do a few small practice runs. They also offer private ski lessons here.
  -Ski rentals are available on-site

• Five dining venues ranging from casual to fine dining: Cortina (Northern Italian, breakfast and dinner), Alpenglow (lobby bar, all-day), Wildflower Market (grab & go), Beartooth Pub, The Living Room (bourbon tea service), Backcast (seasonal outdoor menu).
• Make dinner reservations, especially for Cortina, the signature restaurant.
• Beartooth Pub is a great place to eat with your kids: pizza, bar food, bowling, and arcade games.
• Wildflower Market opens at 6am; it has coffee, pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, picnic baskets, and house-made ice cream.
• All venues offer children's options and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• 24-hour room service available to lodge and mountain home guest.
• Kids will love the nightly s'mores by the fire pit.
• If you're staying in a residence, they can arrange for a private chef or you can grab a meal kit from Wildflower Market.
