- Rosewood has its own quieter pools within the larger Baha Mar complex, which can only be used by Rosewood guests, which many families find less overwhelming than the main resort pools.
- The free Rosewood Explorers Club is for ages 4–12 and is located near the Lagoon Pool. Expect indoor crafts and cookie decorating in the mornings and beach activities in the afternoons, plus a daily 3:30 pm ice cream party.
- You can also use the Baha Mar Explorer's kids club (located in the Grand Hyatt next door), which takes 3-year-olds. This kids' club is not free.
- Rosewood has two outdoor pools (Lagoon and Cabana) plus hot tubs, with lifeguards stationed throughout.
- Cabanas are available; chairs closest to the water fill early.
- Guests have access to Baha Bay waterpark(5-minute walk), with a lazy river, wave pool, splash pad, surf simulator, and large water slides.
- Cable Beach is calm and swimmable for little kids, with generally shallow, clear water. There is a seating section specifically for Rosewood guests, with ample umbrellas.
- The broader Baha Mar resort includes non-motorized water sports, tennis and pickleball courts, golf, and a mini golf course.
- The Sanctuary offers small-group animal encounters, including feeding flamingos and sea turtles.
- Babysitting can be arranged through the concierge.

- Tingum on the Sand is the beachfront option for breakfast and lunch, with pool and beach service throughout the day
- The larger Baha Mar complex adds many more restaurants; reservations are recommended. Kids under 5 eat free at many restaurants.
- Coffee and quick bites are easy to find elsewhere across the Baha Mar complex.
