tips and watch-outs from families who've been there
sleep
- There’s only one room type — the Suite Tent — but it works for families.
- Each tent has a king bed, a living area with a queen sofa bed (in the same space as the king), and an en-suite bathroom (no bathtub).
- Tents measure 360 sq ft and include a 70 sq ft deck. They have heating, cooling, and electricity.
- Need an extra bed? A cot is $50 per night; Pack ’n Plays are free.
- Tents don’t have locks, but the property feels very safe.
- Wi-Fi is unavailable in the tents (only in the main lobby).
play
- Three outdoor “dipping” pools — cold, medium, and hot. They’re small, but your kids will still have fun.
- Plenty of exploring on property and off (hiking, rock climbing, river rafting, scenic drives).
- Don’t miss day trips to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.
- Evenings sometimes feature live music from local musicians.
- This is an awesome place to stargaze.
eat
- Breakfast is open 7-10am and dinner 5-10pm. No reservations. Sit outside for an amazing view!
- Most guests are out adventuring during lunch, so they don't offer a sit-down service then.
- There's a coffee and smoothie bar with grab-and-go snacks.
- Don’t miss the free trail-mix bar or nightly s’mores.
