- Casona con Piscina is great for families with young kids. It's the only room with a bathtub, and the only one-bedroom option with door separation between the bedroom and living room.
- Casa (and Casa con Piscina) rooms have a wall separating the bedroom and living room, but no door. There is a powder room that may fit a travel crib.
- Casita Grande is two side-by-side one-bedroom Casita rooms (they do not connect internally).
- Casa Grande (and Casa Grande con Piscina) is a true two-bedroom suite.
- All rooms have at least one sofa, which can sleep a small child. They can also set up a toddler tent.

- This is a great resort for active families: swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and a ropes course are all steps from your door.
- There’s an outdoor family pool, plus indoor and adults-only pools.
- Be prepared for some rain — you’re in a rainforest!
- The kids club (ages 5+) primarily takes place outdoors.
- The playground is great for kids who love to climb.
- Babysitting is available; book one and sneak off to the excellent spa.
- Your kids will love the horses. If they’re too young for a trail ride, they can still groom the horses or enjoy a pony ride.

- All food is included—and it's delicious. (Alcohol is extra.)
- There's a coffee shop that opens at 6am. Costa Rica is known for their coffee, and you won't be disappointed!

- 4 hours by car from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO); transportation can be arranged (starting at $400).
- A scheduled charter flight operates twice daily between the resort and SJO (FREE for 2 guests; kids under 3 fly free as well).
- Valet and self-parking are available.
- Golf carts are available to help you get around the property.
- Note: The resort closes for 6 weeks every year, from mid-September through early November.
