tips and watch-outs from families who've been there

- Casona con Piscina is the only room with a bathtub, and the only one-bedroom room with a door separation between the bedroom and the living room; this room would work well for a family with several young children
- Casita King and Double Queen rooms have a couch area, but it's not separate from the bedroom
- Casa (and Case con Piscina) room has a wall separating the bedroom and living room, but no door (there is, however, a powder room that may fit a travel crib)
- Casita Grande is two side-by-side one-bedroom Casita rooms (they do not connect on the inside)
- Casa Grande (and Casa Grande con Piscina) is a true two-bedroom suite
- All rooms have at least one sofa

- This is a great place for active families - swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and a kids ropes course are out your front door
- There's an outdoor family pool, as well as indoor and outdoor adults-only pools
- Be prepared for some rain daily (you're in a rainforest!)
- Kids club (5+) primarily takes place outdoors (there's no dedicated kids club room)
- Babysitting can be arranged - book one and take yourself to their top-notch spa
- Your kids will love visiting with the horses; if they're too young for a trail ride, they can still help groom the horses or do a pony ride

- All food is included - and it's GOOD (alcohol is extra)
- There's a coffee shop that opens at 6am
- Rooms are stocked with drinks and snacks
